Lauren & Mike - Deer Lake Orchard Wedding in Buffalo, MN

Lauren and Mike’s wedding was such a fairytale wedding dream come true this past weekend! They had their wedding at Deer Lake Orchard in Buffalo, MN. They couldn’t have picked a better time in the fall to have their wedding at an apple orchard. Originally their wedding was to be hosted in a barn on site but the barn was torn down and then hosted in a tent, which was still as gorgeous! What I loved most about this venue was that the ceremony location was tucked a short 5 minute walk behind the reception site and secluded amongst tall trees and a pond which gave it an intimate feel. I loved the details Lauren and Mike included in their wedding, such as the handkerchief Lauren kept wrapped around her bouquet that her mother gave her, the simple table setting with greenery, foliage, and apples from the orchard, and the delicious wedding cake that was made by Mike’s family. DJ Eric kept the guests dancing throughout the night; it was so much fun that even I stayed a little after to hang out! Certainly a wedding to remember. And rarely do I see a wedding run on time, especially with some hiccups as expected (such as the groom’s ring going missing, running into a peanut allergy, etc.) but we stayed on track through most of the day.
